Procrastination is nothing short of an illness… OK, maybe it’s not really an illness per se, but it ain’t that far. Delaying doing the necessary because it can wait only has one outcome: a big mess.

If you want to write one page, do it now, while you can. Once that’s out of the picture, you can enjoy the rest of the evening doing whatever.

Sadly enough, procrastination is my frenemy. All excuses are good to say “later”. And the rare times I don’t is when I’m in a good mood (a simple combination is needed: good weather + no exam awaiting).

Therefore, the following quotes are as much for me as they are for you:

“You may delay, but time will not”

“The best way to get done is to begin.”

“Procrastination is the thief of time, collar him.”

“Someday is not a day of the week.”

“The thing all writers do best is find ways to avoid writing.”

& you, what’s your relationship with procrastination?
